We are predominantly an arable farm based in Fillingham, Lincolnshire. We grow cereal crops, legumes, pumpkins, sunflowers and christmas trees.
W & A.C Rose Farms has been a proud part of the Fillingham community since 1949. Based at Manor Farm in the beautiful village of Fillingham near Gainsborough, we are a family run farm which is run alongside some contracting work for local farmers.
Our Castle Farm yard, just off the B1398, is the retail site we use to sell our homegrown and premium Christmas Trees.
More recently we have added pumpkin and sunflowers events amongst other diversification ideas…

We work a mixture of heavy land and lighter cliff soil using a crop rotation system of Wheat, Spring Barley, OS Rape, Peas, Beans and Oats. We’ve been contract farming for JIC Dickinson Farms since 2002.
William and Alfred are brothers who have farmed together in partnership since 1984. Alfred’s son, Charlie, began working on the farm at the end of 2024.
Alongside the arable work, we take great pride in growing and supplying premium Christmas trees to both the local area and other retailers further afield. It was a diversification project which William and Alfred started 30 years ago which now forms a key part of the overall business.
